Don't Laugh at Kanye

Kanye's relentless and ridiculous harassment of Pete Davidson--who is dating Kim Kardashian, his ex-wife--has spurred headlines, memes and jokes. Davidson reportedly called West's threats, "hysterical." (On IG, West says that his harassment is "art therapy.") But there's a chilling underside to the story about the ex with a grudge: Homicide is the leading cause of death for women under 44 and more than half of all women killed in the U.S. are murdered by a partner or ex, per the CDC. (True Crime buffs already know this.) Also: 12% of the deaths were associated with jealousy and 15% of the women were pregnant--about 54% were gun deaths. Kim Kardashian probably has more security than Putin, but most women with an angry ex are 100% vulnerable.
