Velour is the New Cashmere

Remember the 70s? Nobody wore seat belts, our parents smoked at our soccer games and everyone wore velour. (To me, this ultra-plush fabric feels softer than a kitten's nose.) Right now, I'm obsessed with these chic, modern track suits by Suzie Kondi ($195 per separate). She's reinvented the genre with high-waisted harem pants and piped raglan tops with three-quarter sleeves. Trust me, these silhouettes are flattering and the colors are more sophisticated than the tracks suits of yore. Think rich hues like desert rose (my favorite), amber and Prussian blue. I wear my Kondi with a blazer and clogs or platform sneakers and I feel comfortable and unstoppable.
