The $100 Jeans With A Cult Following

Pretty Ripe | Volume 18 - The $100 Jeans With A Cult Following

When did the price of jeans skyrocket to a mortgage payment? A pair of Stella McCartney patchwork jeans are selling for $1,650. I can't. I won't. Neither should you. I'm a lifelong Levi's devotee because their denim runs the gamut from classic to trendy and usually costs less than $120 per pair. My latest jam is the "ribcage" collection, which is all the rage with stylists and fashion editors because the 12-inch rise elongates your silhouette. They cinch at your natural waist rather than your hips--and that's more flattering. The look comes in wide-leg, ankle-length and bootcut, pictured here. (Also, this style runs to plus-size 24L and we should support brands that care about all women.) Check me out wearing them with my glitter heels on @prettyripe.
