My Not So Excellent I.V.F. Adventure
More and more women over 40 are having babies--and I'm one of them. At 42, after depleting our savings and sanity on three rounds of I.V.F. (in vitro fertilization), I got pregnant with my daughter, Tess Darling Harel. (Can you tell how appreciative she looks in the picture above?) I wrote an article called "Baby, Please" about my struggle to get pregnant after 40 and in that piece, I break down what to expect when you're not expecting and I also explore what fertility means to us as women. Don't let reproductive issues make you question your value or femininity. Reach out to me if you need to vent.
