Look, I don't want to talk about vitamin D either. It's not sexy at all. But the reality is this: you need this vitamin to protect your bones. (It also helps prevent inflammation, heart disease, cancer and auto-immune concerns.) We absorb less vitamin D as we get older and we produce less too.
