Call Your Girlfriend

She’s my friend because we both know what it’s like to have people be jealous of us.
— Cher, "Clueless"

Now, more than ever, we need to nurture our female friendships. There's science to prove it too: according to the journal NeuroImage, when women share and bond, they release oxytocin or the "love hormone." That's key because oxytocin encourages attachment and reduces anxiety. What anxiety!?

Here's an idea: over the next week, reach out to one woman in your life every day to remind her why you love her and how much you value her support. That way, she gets some oxytocin too.
