"I'm Not Busy" is the New "I'm So Busy"
Oh, we all know the type. Before you can even ask about her life, she grabs your wrist and hisses, "I'm just craaaazy busy." In a simple declaration, she cements her value in this world and seemingly dismisses your self-worth. Well, so much for overachieving because being overworked and overstressed is no longer a badge of self-importance--and that's progress.
In fact, a 2018 study out of Columbia Business School confirms that we are not collectively working more hours; we're just bragging about working more hours. Instead, let's show each other that prioritizing our free time and mastering some semblance of work/life balance is the new flex. How am I? Not too busy to enjoy life and this moment with you. Pass it on.
