Best of Wellness! This shout out from The Retaility--a chic and thoughtful site that takes you inside the homes and hearts of inspiring L.A. people--means a hell of a lot. It captures why I founded the PRETTY RIPE platform: to be a "midlife midwife." Also, journalist Lindzi Scharf launched The Retaility to counter the white picket appearances of social media. She's the mother to Evan, a beautiful daughter born with a rare mitochondrial disorder. Lindzi decided to share her family's joyful and challenging journey, which ultimately helped build community around her. The takeaway? Strength and courage reside in our vulnerability, like coins under couch cushions. Don't be afraid to tell your story. We will listen.
