Finally, A Mascara I Don't Hate

Finding the right mascara is like dating someone new. At first, it's all laughs and long, lush lashes. This is "the one," you think. But then the formula starts to clump or flake; the applicator just stops giving a shit about your needs. Trust me, I have slept with many mascaras (on my lashes) over the years.

Well, meet my new love: Kevyn Aucoin's Indecent Mascara ($28). The cone-bristle brush easily coats my inner and outer lashes, which makes them fan out and look fuller. The gentle formula is easy to wash off and contains red clover and mung bean, which spur lash growth. (Our eyelashes thin as we age, so be gentle with your lash follicles; avoid waterproof mascara if it's hard to remove.) Pro tip: don't pump your mascara wand for extra formula. You will draw air into the tube and dry out the formula. Instead, dip that wand in and out gently.
