Best Pride-Inspired Gift

Remember the first time you heard The Village People? For me, as a little girl, YMCA was an anthem of joy--and a chance to see my Irish uncles dance like idiots at weddings. But I recently rewatched the video, listened closely to the lyrics and I cried.
They sing:
Young man, there's no need to feel down,
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground,
I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town,
There's no need to be unhappy.
