Please don't remind me that clutter is bad for my mental health--especially as I maniacally plunder one of my many junky drawers for a lip balm. If you get overwhelmed at the idea of organizing, try my new method: one shelf or drawer at a time. I now commit to tidying one book or refrigerator shelf or one drawer in my dresser per day. Just one. That's it! Trust me, this gradual and manageable approach works.
